The fourth edition of Wine Expo Poland in Warsaw is behind us. Guests of the event had the opportunity to taste tipples not currently available on the Polish market. It is possible, however, that this will change soon. Almost everyone came to Wine Expo Poland to find a distributor in our country. This year, the vast majority of exhibitors came from Italy. Why did this happen?
– Poland is currently a very open market for wine. This is why we penetrate it and we look for distributors. For many years, consumers have been looking for alcoholic drinks at lower prices, but now it is changing. That is why Poland is so interesting to us. In case of Italian wines, price also means quality, and such correlation is not always the case. Castel di Salve Winery, which I represent, was founded in 1885 near Lecce in Pulia. So, we have long tradition and rich history. Our production volume is 170,000 bottles – said Ernestos Karydis.
