The 15th Vodka Tasting organised by the “Rynki Alkoholowe” monthly, like last year, was also conducted remotely. Most importantly, however, this did not affect the choices or decisions of the jurors, who awarded a record number of medals. The biggest competition was in the category of pure vodkas priced up to 40 zlotys per 0.5 l. In the end, Hlibny Dar vodka (Bayadera Group, distributor in Poland: BJC Dictribution Sp. z o.o.) became the winner in this category. In the category of pure vodkas priced above 40 zlotys per 0.5 l, the market novelty Drvahl Vodka (Pravda S.A.) turned out to be the best. Retman Strong vodka with 50% alcohol content (Toruńskie Wódki Gatunkowe), competing in the price category above 40 zlotys per 0.5 litres, was also awarded a medal for its high score among the remaining pure vodkas participating in the competition.
In the category of flavoured vodkas and flavoured spirits priced up to PLN 40 per 0.5 l, the winner was Stolichnaya Salted Karamel (Stoli Group, distributor in Poland: Cerville Investment Sp. z o.o.). In the category of flavoured vodkas and flavoured spirits priced above PLN 40 for 0.5 l, the product Jałowiec Polski (Toruńskie Gatunkowe Vodkas) received very high marks from the jury, guaranteeing victory. A medal was also awarded to 24 Herbs Gin (Trend Spirits Sp. z o.o.) competing in the price category above 40 zlotys per 0.5 l for its high score against the background of the other flavoured vodkas and flavoured spirits participating in the competition. We also decided to give a special award ‘for an idea and interesting style’ to Markhor Cannabis Vodka (Amed&O). In the spirit category, Okowita z Kukurydzy (Podkarpacka Destylarnia Okowity) and Grochowica (Grochowica Polska Sp. z o.o.) received a medal. For the first time, we awarded two medals in the Packaging Design category. They were awarded to Żurek Żytni (Polmos Bielsko-Biała S.A.) and Morosha Sinevir (Global Spirits Beverages Sp. z o.o.).
